Welcome to AuNaturel!
If you're looking for QUALITY organic produce, you've entered the right site.
It used to be that we only had to wash a little dirt off our produce in order to prepare it for eating. Now, we worry about hormones, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, genetic modification and more.
Organic farming differs from conventional farming in the methods used to grow crops. Where traditional farmers apply chemical fertilizers to the soil to grow their crops, organic farmers feed and build soil with natural fertilizer. Traditional farmers use insecticides to get rid of insects and disease, while organic farmers use natural methods such as insect predators and barriers for this purpose. Traditional farmers control weed growth by applying synthetic herbicides, but organic farmers use crop rotation, tillage, hand weeding, cover crops and mulches to control weeds.
Pesticides can have many negative influences on health, including neurotoxicity, disruption of the endocrine system, carcinogenicity and immune system suppression. Pesticide exposure may also affect male reproductive function and has been linked to miscarriages in women. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers 60 percent of herbicides, 90 percent of fungicides and 30 percent of insecticides to be carcinogenic.
Aside from pesticide contamination, conventional produce tends to have fewer nutrients than organic produce. On average, conventional produce has only 83 percent of the nutrients of organic produce. Studies have found significantly higher levels of nutrients such as vitamin C, iron, magnesium and phosphorus, and significantly less nitrates (a toxin) in organic crops. An apple grown and harvested conventionally can have as many as 36 different pesticides sprayed on it, according to the Washington, D.C.-based Environmental Working Group(EWG), which cites government research. "If people knew how their food was grown, they'd be willing to pay the extra money for organic," said Nell Newman, co-founder and president of Newman's Own Organics.
There is little question that organic foods are superior to non-organic ones. However, some people are deterred from buying organic because of the expense. That's where we come in. At AuNaturel we keep the cost of organic produce at a competitive, but affordable price while offering the convenience of having it delivered to you!

Currently we are serving our customers with weekly deliveries of the freshest produce available. We offer standard and exotic fruit, vegetables, greens and herbs.

Ever heard of a Cherimoya? Ever seen a Cherimoya? Ever heard or seen an organic Cherimoya? The answer for most of you is "no", the reason is that most people are afraid to try something new and even more, to try something new at a cost. Whatever you choose, the bottom line is organic means healthy and most people wish to live a healthy life, so it is our goal to enhance that by offering regular and exotic produce that may otherwise be too expensive, of poor quality, or may even be hard to find altogether. In addition you have the comfort of shopping from your own home, having your items delivered if you choose and the satisfaction of knowing we stand behind our product!
We hope you enjoy your shopping experience with AuNaturel Organics....HAVE A PEACHY DAY!
